Description
Blue Note BLP 1503 Amazing BUD POWELL sometimes called vol 1, with 1 Lexington Ave. label and a 47 west 63rd to the other side, both of which are deep grooved as shown, with RVG etched rather than stamped in the run out grooves, plus the plastylite record plant cursive "p", sometimes referred to as an ear.
Record has Excellent playing surfaces and near mint labels, sleeve has some pen to rear and a 2.5inch split to top edge at opening, plus rubbing to seams and a few pen marks to rear so about VG+. This is a very desirable transitional labelled pressing, with an original picture inner which has the 43 west address to it, as does the sleeve rear. This has a closed tear to one corner & creasing, as shown in the pics. Pretty good for a 1950's Blue Note inner - although I should add, I do not know if this inner came with this pressing originally, it is how I bought the record, so am selling it on as bought, but with the lp protected in an antistatic VRP lined inner, all of it in a new Poly outer.
I have heard this throughout and it plays excellent on an ortofon mono cartridge, through a valve phono stage.
we send packed in hard card custom made new boxes.
