Description

This is the original deep groove stereo pressing of Blue Mitchell “Blue Soul” on the small (3 ½”) labels of Riverside RLP 1155.   Other than an inaudible scuff at the beginning of Side 2, the playing surface is in excellent condition with a nice luster.  The laminated cover is clean and bright throughout; the back slick shows 1” tape stain at the top right corner and small writing at the center; 2 ½” superficial break – but no split – at the center of the spine; ½” clean break at the center of the bottom seam.  Personnel include Curtis Fuller, Jimmy Heath, Wynton Kelly, Sam Jones, and Philly Joe Jones.  $200.00
