Description
This is a very rare mint LP entitled "Blue Demon's Mexican Rock and Roll Favorites," collecting 18 hard-to-find Mexican Spanish-language 60's garage bands, including Los Apson, Los Rockin' Devils, Los Hooligans, Los Monstruos, Los Locos Del Ritmo and many others. It is on Numero Uno Records (but not the same Numero Uno that has released soul music comp CDs in the 2000's). Half the tracks are covers (Call Me Lightning, We Gotta Get Outta This Place, others) and half are originales. This is similar in style to the great Los Nuggetz collection and has little or no repeated tracks with that collection. The cover is mint with no discoloration, ringwear or edge decay. The only thing keeping the cover from being absolutely perfect is that I (the original owner) put dots next to song titles (indicating my favorites) the word 'trash' next to one title, and the words 'los gatos frios - cool cats', all written lightly on the back cover. Btw, the back cover also features some nice photos of a few of the bands and their records. The record itself is stone MINT: it's shiny black and plays perfectly.
