Roland Alphonso & The Soul Vendors – ‘Blue Dot’ / Prince Jazzbo – ‘Ring-A-Ting’ – Bongo Man (JA)
What have we here? Two crucial Studio One sides back-to-back; one side is the superb 1967 rocksteady cut by Roland Alphonso also known as ‘Hot Rod’, the other is Jazzbo’s wicked cut to the Heptones’ classic ‘Ting-A-Ling’. Matrix numbers CS 0600 (‘Blue Dot’) and 7CD-8125 (‘Ring-A-Ting’), respectively. Top copy! Impossible to find in this condition, and very, very rare with proper labels; if you need this disc, now’s the time to strike!Condition: A notch below excellent, essentially as good as these Studio One originals will get though with the usual pressing irregularities (please listen to the clips). Clean labels, slightly smudged on the Jazzbo side (please see scans).

Registered and insured shipping (with a tracking number) is an additional $11.00 per parcel to cover a total value not exceeding $80.00. Shipping from Sweden is expensive, not least due to the fact that the weight increments are few and far apart, but it’s usually swift and safe.

Please note that like many other sellers of reggae on eBay, I’ve been the victim of so called ‘fake bidders’, bad minded people with no intention of purchasing the items they bid on and whose only game seems to be to ruin the auction for buyers and sellers alike. In the event that the record is won by a ‘fake bidder’, to save time, I will immediately re-list it with a ‘Buy It Now!’ option.
