Description
Black Unity Trio: Al-Fatihah. Salaam Records 777-A, original pressing. LP has been vacuum-cleaned on a VPI, and it will be shipped in an oversized box for extra protection; signature will be required. I video record my packing process for accuracy and integrity.
The LP has a slight edge warp but I cannot detect any variation in the pitch. It has mild scuffing and several light scratches. There is some crackle from the scratches, mostly light but occasionally mild. At the 15:40 mark on side 2, there is some brief clipping or distortion on a few of the bass's notes. I don't know if that happened during taping or if it is a result of a scratch on the record. I tend to think it's the former.
The sleeve has owners' names and some light staining and 1/8" of chipping on the bottom seam. No splits or other chipping. Upper left corner has a slight bend. The LP has writing on the label.
This will come with a transfer in DSD (DSF format), WAV, and hi-res FLAC on an archival quality Blu-Ray; it's the same transfer I used for the MP3 files, which you can listen to below.
