Description

For Sale is Black Sabbaths self titled album which was released in 1970 on the vertigo label.

The album is one of the most iconic British rock albums to be ever made

This record is very sought after as it is the original prssing with The phillips records product credit on the label aswell as this the Dunbar credit is next to Warning.

Aswell as this on the inside cover the misprint of OSSIE OSBOURNE is noted

as a result this is quite a rare item

The vinyl is in VG+ condition however their are some marks to both sides but nothing which affects the sound. There is some background noise and when played there is some light pops which can be heard on both sides however when played on my Ferguson record player the vinyl played extremely well for a record of this genre and age.

the labels are in very good condition however side B as the picture shows has a few marks around the centre hole but this is minimal. Side A is excellent. The labels ALSO show this is a first pressing as Vertigo is written underneath with the Phillips record product underneath.

The original vertigo inner sleeve is no longer with the reocrd and the vinyl is houses in a plain paper sleeve

The cover is in VG+ condition. there is wear to thew bottom edge and corners and some slight wear to top corners. The edge has some slight wear but is entirely readable. Th front cover is very clean but has a small scuff on the vertigo swirl in the top corner however has very little effect to the cover. The back cover has one small scuff but has little effect and really appears extremely clean and presentable. The inside is very good. on the b and l in black sabbath there is some marking which has taken place and there are a few light marks however for a cover of this age the condition is remarkable.
