BLACK CAT BONES - 'BARBED WIRE SANDWICH'
British heavy blues rock at its very best on this rare UK stereo 1st pressing of their only album dating from November 1969.
It is on the Decca's progressive 'Nova' label: SDN 15

Housed within a front laminated cover printed by the 'Senol Printing Group', with mono/stereo indicator hole on the rear panel.

A clean & vibrant set with nothing more than a handful of faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & unworn playing surfaces which retain their original deep-gloss shine. A light turntable scuff on the edge of side 2 and a tiny 2mm mark on track 4 of side 1 are the only visible blemishes in strong daylight. Closer inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than some harmless wispy paper-hairlines & a sparking rainbow shine. Both sides of this highly respectable copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This great sounding copy has received minimal, careful play on excellent equipment and the sound throughout is clean & very powerful and without any trace of any groove/playwear on any track or in either channel. My single careful play-check at volume detected just 2/3 light clicks on 'Please Tell Me Baby' caused by the aforementioned mark. However there are no further audible distractions or wear on or between any of these explosive tracks.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
An extremely clean & firm example which retains an unscratched & unworn high-gloss front panel laminate. It bears just a single 'thumbnail' towards the opening edge & a handful of tiny spine wrinkles. There is slight bruising to the corner tips but both of the opening edges are clean, sharp & unworn.
The rear panel is clean & white with no blemishes or wear of any kind.
The spine is clean & fully worded and both seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit .
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with some storage wrinkling but no writing, tears or seam splits.
