Bill Evans Trio Explorations First Pressing Riverside Blue Label 351 Mono NICE!


 

This Bill Evans Trio album is very rare! The title of the album is Explorations and it is the first pressing dated 1961. The Riverside label is blue and silver and the owner also stated that this is mono. The trio on this album is Bill Evans on piano, Scott La Faro on bass and Paul Motian on drums. This was recorded in New York City on February 2, 1961.

Condition:

This album has a few very light scratches, but nothing that should hinder enjoying Bill Evan’s captivating music. The cover is split about half way down across the top and about ¼ of the way across the bottom. The cover and edges have some wear consistent with age, but no stains. There is a small ink spot by Bill's eye on the front cover. All marks and spots on the album are glares from the camera!
