Description: Beautiful 18LP box set covering 151 performances from 1956-1963 with several previously unreleased recordings. The outer box is in good condition, not amazing, but good! There are a few scuffs to the bottom. All LP's are in very good condition. On a very few albums there are surface scratches.
This is R-018 on the Riverside Label of Fantasy, Inc. and was issued in 1984 as part of a Limited Edition of 5,000. It consists of a sleeve with two inner cases, 18 LPs in lined paper sleeves and a 32-page insert. The insert contains a complete song list by side. Additionally, it includes a song index, a list of musicians, producers and engineers, an "Homage to Bill Evans" by Martin Williams, a spread of the original album covers 1956-1964 in color, a description of "The Bill Evans Sessions" by Orrin Keepnews (producer) a Discography and a complete Album Identification under the Riverside, Riverside (ABC), Milestone, Prestige, Impulse (ABC) and OJC (Original Jazz Classics) labels.
