Description
BILL EVANS - NEW JAZZ CONCEPTIONS, Riverside RLP12-223, white label, deep groove pressing, original cover art.
Here is an original pressing of Bill Evans' debut LP, recorded in 1956. The musicians are Bill Evans (piano), Teddy Kotick (bass), Paul Motian (drums).
The tunes are I Love You, Five, I Got It Bad and That Ain't Good, Conception, Easy Living, Displacement, Speak Low, Waltz For Debby, Our Delight, My Romance, No Cover No Minimum..
Condition of record is V+, some light scuffing, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays very strong with light occasional surface noise. Jacket shows considerable wear, seams are split all the way around with some tape repairs.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
We think that most buyers want to receive their winnings quickly, so we offer the fastest mail options and we pack our records very carefully in heavy duty mailers. Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
