Description

This is Mercury Records MG 20801,Benny Golson Turning Point, a black label, deep groove, original promotional mono issue of this beautiful quartet session featuring Wynton Kelly. The cover is autographed by Mr. Golson on the back (see photo). The record is in near mint condition showing almost no signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The laminated cover shows clear tape on the top and bottom seams, a small bump on the upper right corner and a promotional stamp on the back, next to the autograph, but is otherwise excellent and intact. The original inner sleeve is included. The labels have light spindle marks but are otherwise excellent. A fine collector's grade copy of this autographed original. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be listing over the next few months. Please check our other listings.
