Bee Gees - Self-titled EP (Leedon LX-10747)
Timber / Take Hold Of That Star
The Battle Of The Blue And The Grey / The Three Kisses Of Love
Incredibly rare first EP from 1964 which combines the A and B sides of their first two singles. This EP had a very small print run and was never re-pressed after they became better known. This is the rarest record by the Bee Gees from their early days in Australia. The last copy of this EP sold online that I could find was 8 years ago and went for AU$4,400 (Record was EX).
Condition of record visually is G+ (Good Plus). Has minor scuff marks that cause occasional crackling when record is played although overall sound of music is still loud and predominant. However, no major scratches. Side 1 label has a small water mark (see photo). Side 2 label has some small moisture marks (see photo).
Picture Cover is in VG- (Very Good Minus) condition. Overall generally very presentable but has 3cm seam split from top right hand front corner which then extends 1.5cm downwards on front cover (see photo). Also has some minor creases, ring wear, some wear along open edge, foxing and rubbing (see photos).
