Description

The Beatles-"Let It Be" Boxed Set, Apple PXS 1 (designated catalog number for this set, although the number doesn't appear anywhere on the box or LP), released in 1970. This is the original UK pressing:

1)the Garrod & Lofthouse outer cover is in VG+ condition, with general very light age wear, especially at the corners and the sides. There is one very tiny tear along the side on the back. In addition, there are five small spots on the back where the laminate is missing and these spots were blacked in. There is also remnants of some printing on the back, but it's so faint I can't make out what it was. You can just see some of it in the picture. This was manufactured printing of some kind, not writing. I don't know if it came like this, or was added later.

2)the record (PCS-7096), VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in NM- condition, with a couple of tiny scuffs on side one and a couple of very small scratches on side two. Side one LP labels are in NM condition, side two LP labels are NM- with a couple of light spindle marks.

3)the Garrod & Lofthouse LP cover is in NM- condition with the only flaw being a couple of creases, caused by the lighter cardboard the UK uses to manufacture their covers. Includes a UK inner

4)the book, which has actually become the most prized part of this package as it was only available in this set, is in amazing NM condition. The spine is unbroken; there are no loose or damaged pages, etc. A real beauty

5)the book and outer tray, which generally take a lot of abuse as they are so flimsy and the book is so heavy, are both in amazing VG+ to NM- condition, with only the most general of typical handling wear evident. There are a couple of minor creases on the book tray, but no rips, tears, repairs, etc

Extremely hard to find Beatles collectible; these are getting scarce, and a must for the serious Beatles collection. This is actually one of the nicest sets I've ever seen. With the exception of the back of the outer sleeve, there are really no issues with any component of this set; it's really in overall remarkable condition all the way around.
