Upgrade your vintage Beatles LP collection with this beautiful original Capitol Records RARE MONO LP by the legendary Beatles. It is a 1967's psychedelic masterpiece "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" (MAS-2653). The record is in excellent NM- condition with outstanding shine. Even under a direct bright spotlight I could only see ridiculously light wear and the labels are flawless. The superior mono mix (preferred by the group themselves) sounds fantastic with barely a trace of any surface noise. It's one of the best playing copies I've ever heard! The cover is an easy VG+ with a beautiful front, well-centered slick, a red back with hardly any of the typical ringwear, and a perfect spine. There is no NEMS reference on the back either. The only thing that prevents it from rating higher is that it appears as though the upper seam had a split near the opening that was glue repaired. Whoever did it, however, did a super job. There is also some rubwear near the upper corner worth mentioning. The cut-outs (original with heavy cardstock style paper) are included and are in super shape. The set comes with the rare psychedelic "red wave" sleeve with clean splits but otherwise great. Buyer will pay $3 to ship via USPS media mail. I typically ship within a day or two of payment.
