READ THIS! These records are NOT sold for perfect sound quality. They’re sold for their scarcity and VISUAL grading. They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning.  I can’t test-play at the minute. Please don’t bid if this is a problem for you.

Beatles-Related LP McCartney Ram 1975 “All Rights Reserved” Scarcer LA Labels!

Any of the “All Rights Reserved” labels for this album are considered rare.  But the labels least frequently found are the Los Angeles labels, with the disclaimer on two lines on side 1, just below the Apple stem.  The five lines on side 2 are found on the other pressings.

Since 1975, this is the only copy I’ve ever seen.  Still looking for my NM copy.  This one has been my keeper for decades, and now it’s time for someone else to take up the hunt.

Vinyl--- VERY strong VG to my eyes.  I’m positive that other sellers and collectors would grade this a VG+.  Mostly original shine.  Each side has just a few long wisps that your stylus won’t detect, and that you’ll need a good light source to detect.  Side 2 has the worst, and even that one isn’t bad.  See photos.

Plates--- F16/ F32.  Machine-stamped asterisk in the dead wax on both sides makes this copy a Los Angeles pressing.

Cover--- Solid VG.  That doesn’t mean ripped.  All seams are solid with no splits.  But they, as well as the spine, have taken some dings, resulting in some loss of slick.  Front and back covers have moderate ringwear, no dirtwear.

Gatefold--- Certainly much better than the outer cover, the gatefold has just a bit of minor ringwear.  Center seam is muscular-strong, NO SPLITS.

Labels--- Excellent/ Excellent.  With the exceptions of a few light spindle marks per side, the labels look fresh and new.

Inner Sleeve--- Generic white inner sleeve with no die-cut hole for the labels to show through.  Has side splitting, probably from laughing.

RIAA: N/A.

This will serve as your keeper copy, if for no other reason than because you’re not going to be able to find another one anyway.  And if you do, don’t tell me, because I’ll get jealous.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
