All My Loving 1964

1st Pressing GEP 8891

Matrix: 7TCE 790-1N and 7TCE 791-1N

Stampers: 5GRA and 3GAO

Released in Feb 1964, early copies of this EP had no 'sold in UK' label text which was added as part of a continuous pressing process, throughout that year, when 'sold in UK' was introduced. This copy is still a 1st pressing despite the Record Collector listing it as a 2nd.

Both sides of this disc display vinyl surfaces in near pristine condition with an oily gloss that suggests very little play. Viewed under a bright light, there are wispy handling lines but these are superficial and have no audible impact. Audio is crystal clear with near silent run ins from this wonderful example.

Both labels are in 'day of release' condition, each having one, almost invisible, spindle trail. The side one label has a tiny area that has 'melted' into the vinyl on the centre push out but this is from manufacture and is not damage.

The 1st issue sleeve, with its rounded flipbacks, is as close to mint as you are likely to get. The front panel is smooth and unmarked, with just one mild thumb crease near the open edge. All edges and corners are razor sharp. Apart from the inevitable age toning and a little spotting along the open edge, the unprotected back panel is absolutely pristine. It would be very difficult to find a better example.

All in all, a fantastic addition to any Beatles collection.

I have other Beatles items listed, please take a look.

Please read the following information:

For reasons best known only to themselves and their psychiatrists, some new members will outbid all others to win an auction and then vanish without paying or replying to emails. For this reason, if you you have a feedback score of less than 10, please contact me before bidding, to confirm your ability to complete the transaction. Failure to do so will result in your bid being cancelled and the item offered to a genuine bidder.

I always listen to the whole disc and try to give an honest description of its performance. Being a buyer as well, I have experienced the irritation of receiving an item which, although not described dishonestly, has had important details 'conveniently' omitted from the write up. It is not uncommon on, used vinyl, to experience the odd dust pop, particularly in the run ins/offs, so please bear this in mind. I will tell you if there are any skips, stalls, repetitive clicks, crackle or sound deterioration For your own peace of mind, I will give you a, no quibble, full refund (including the cost of return postage), if you find your purchase unacceptable. Thank you.
