Description

The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and they will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the items I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

The Beatles-"Why"/"Cry For A Shadow" (the only Harrison/Lennon composition in the Beatles catalog) 45, MGM K-13227, released in 1964. This is the very scarce yellow label promo. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in VG condition. It would benefit from a cleaning but I'm leaving that to the winner as methods differ. I think a good cleaning might even bring it up to VG+. Both labels are in excellent condition. This will come in a vintage MGM sleeve. Very scarce piece of Beatles vinyl, in a scarcer format; this is impossible to find in any condition.
