Description
THE BEATLES - 'YESTERDAY'
This barely played copy of their penultimate UK 4-track EP is a 1st pressing dating from initial March 1966 and is on the black & yellow Parlophone label: GEP 8948
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK..' text and carry 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible in the cente of the side 2 label.
Matrix numbers: 7TCE 894-1 & 7TCE 895-1
Stamper codes: 1/R & 1/T
Housed in a front laminated, bi-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed picture cover.

A bright & clean pair with just three of four faint spindle trails around the side 1 centre hole and a tiny scratch around near the hole on 2.

This disc has barely been out of its cover during the past 47 years but unfortunately whilst side 1 of the disc is extremely clean, glossy and unmarked in strong daylight, all of the original shine from side 1 has been lost. However, both surface are free from any scuffs or scratches both lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

This rarely played disc sounds superbly on side 1 and is without any signs of groove/play wear audible on either side. The only significant audible blemish is an intermittent light 'swish' on side 2. Apart from that, there is nothing else to fault soundwise.
Cover: NEAR MINT
An immaculate clean & completely unworn example which appears here in virtually the same condition as it left the shops 44 years ago. Tough to find better.
