Description
Here's an interesting error on The Beatles White album LP. Side one of the first record has the apple label, but there's no print on the label, as you can see from the picture. The other side of the record is normal, with the usual printed information. The second record appears to be normal, as you can see from the other picture. Making this even more desirable is its status as an original Apple Records issue. The jacket is stamped on the front with a serial number (A 31114242), and the bottom left hand side of the gatefold says only "SWBO 101" and nothing else.
Condition: The record itself is about VG, showing lots of small marks. The labels show some spindle marks, but the interesting apple label still looks quite nice. The jacket itself is in better condition, I'll call it VG+, but there is some wear on the cover, fairly limited as this edition goes, and there are some splits near the mouth and the inner spine. Sorry, no poster or photos included.
For those who saw the earlier listing which was cancelled due to an error, I got two copies of this LP with the same collection, and apparently the records and jacket got mixed up. Now the correct records have been matched with the correct jackets.
