Description
The Beatles "The Beatles (White Album)" DOUBLE LP (vinyl). First pressing from late-1968 / early-1969. Very rare Jacksonville pressing plant error in which side 3 was labeled twice, completely rendering the last two tracks of that side as unplayable.
The auction does not include the poster or photos.
Apple labels with Capitol logos in the rim print.
Cover is embossed with "The Beatles" and individually numbered. Spine is tattered, in G+ condition. Upper front seam was fully split, since neatly repaired with clear cello tape. Upper rear seam was 20% intact, since neatly repaired with clear cello tape. Lower front seam was fully split, since neatly repaired with clear cello tape. Lower rear seam was fully split, since neatly repaired with clear cello tape. Overall, the cover is in VG- condition. Some light staining in a few spots.
Vinyl discs are Jacksonville pressings. Lacquer numbers are J54#2/J43#3/[unclear, covered by extraneous label]/J42#1. LPs are in VG- condition; lots of play noted, with numerous light surface marks.
