I can’t test-play vinyl at the minute, so with that said…

A good starter copy of one of the earliest Beatles promos.  I never found a second copy, so I never upgraded it for my collection.  Time for someone else to take up the hunt on this one.  I give up!

Sleeve:  The picture sleeve is pretty nice.  A few finger divots per side.  Graphics are still nice and punchy.  NO SEAM SPLITS.  Moderate wearing off of slick to all seams, not bad, though.  The only legit complaint about this sleeve is that there is a small area on the back of the sleeve, where some slick was torn off.  See photo. 

A generic white sleeve will be provided to protect your company sleeve en route to you.

Vinyl: VG.  Lots of light scratches on both sides equal to the original shine left, but none that you can feel with your fingertip.  “Love Me Do” side has a pock-mark.  Disc plays with noise.

Labels: VG.  Both labels have the promotional print:  “Disc Jockey Advance Sample” and “NOT FOR SALE.”

Side 1 label has sticker stains from removal of radio station abuse in 1964.  Has a stamp, dated APR 18, 1964.

 Side 2 label also has sticker stains, as well as the word, “Delta” very lightly written in blue ballpoint.

Plates: Both dead wax areas are machine-stamped with “Audio Matrix” and “ARP.”  Hand-etched catalogue number is also present.

As these records have been in storage for many years, they will play back with crackling and tics, however; a good moisturizing and cleaning with either D4 Discwasher or a VPI machine always clears them up.  Thanks!)

Note:  All 45’s ship outside of their sleeves in order not to damage the sleeve during shipment. Generic plain, white sleeves and Mylar provided.

(Please note:  Regarding play-testing, my Technics turntable has somehow seized.  The tone arm is stuck in the up position, and I can’t get it to fully return to its cradle.  Is there anyone out there, who can tell me if this is an easy fix?  Thanks!)
