The Beatles "Yesterday And Today"  2nd State Stereo Butcher Cover

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Capitol ST-2553 from 1966.    It has the Butcher Cover underneath the trunk cover.   No attempt has been made to remove the trunk cover.    Ringo's V-neck can be seen at the right.    The lower back cover has the number " 5 " , which means it was pressed in L. A. and is Stereo.   The vinyl on side one looks VG+ and it plays VG+.    The vinyl on side two looks VG- and plays VG- with static, but no skips.    The cover is VG+.     There is no writing or stains.      The bottom seam has wear and a seam split that has been repaired.    The side and top seams are fine.   The mouth is in good shape.   The corners are good.    The top 1 and 1/2 inch of the trunk cover is not attached to the Butcher Cover.  There was no glue there and you can lift back the trunk cover and see the Stereo banner at the top of the Butcher Cover.  The bottom left corner is also not glued and you can lift it up and see John's knees.   There is light ring wear on the front and back.     The label on side one is clean with no spindle marks.    The label on side two has a small name stamped in the color band at the top.    The record comes in the original Capitol orange inner sleeve.  The matrix numbers are : Side 1 :  ST-1-2553-B-16 and Side 2 : ST-1-2553-B-18.

The songs are : Drive My Car, I'm Only Sleeping, Nowhere Man, Dr. Roberts, Yesterday, Act Naturally, And Your Bird Can Sing, If I Needed Someone, We Can Work It Out, What Goes On, and Day Tripper.

I have been buying and selling records for more than 20 years.  I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.   This record is one of my treasures that I found in an Oregon record store.   I will start the bidding at only $10.00.

I will package this record between two pieces of 1/2 inch cardboard (It's so thick that you will save it and use it again.   Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )  It will weigh 26 ounces ( 1 pound, 10 ounces ) when ready to ship.   You can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or First Class Mail International for overseas.    There are no handling charges.   I will remove the record from the cover when I mail it.   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.   And I will let you know when I receive your payment and when I have mailed your record.  This record is from a no smoking, no pets home.    Insurance is recommended for US buyers, but not recommended for foreign buyers. (because on custom charges)
