CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT +
A very clean & bright pair with just a handful of well-aimed spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Extremely clean, bright and deep-gloss playing surfaces which display no significant surface marks or wear in strong daylight and definitely no scratches. There is a tiny manufacturing mark at the end of the final track on side 1 but that is the only visual blemish on either side. Close examination directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals nothing more than a few harmless wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines and no other marks or wear. Both sides of this well-looked after, heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This barely played copy produces wonderful clean, dry and warm sound with no traces of any groove/play wear on any track. It's only audible blemish is a faint repeating sound in the fade-out of 'Michelle' due to the aforementioned mark, but there is no wear break-up of background noise to the track itself. Both run-ins and all bands play entirely without interference and there are of course no clicks, pops or any other distractions anywhere. You will struggle to find a better sounding copy of this wonderful LP.
Cover
EXCELLENT
A fine clean & firm example from heavy card stock which retains a rich, clean & high-gloss front panel bearing only a single 'thumbnail' and a few light edge wrinkles. All corners are in great shape with no bumps or bruising to any and just a touch of wear to the rear opening edge only. The rear panel is overall clean and unmarked with just a touch of age-toning but no writing or missing paper. Both seams and the fully worded spine are smooth and unstressed and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
EXCELLENT
Crisp & clean with just a few light storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits anywhere.
