I am selling this, and other Beatles albums on behalf of my parents who are having a loft clearout, BEATLES albums in this Genuine **TOP** condition are becoming increasingly difficult to find now as more of them find there way to Overseas Collectors….. this is a **TOP INVESTMENT QUALITY** purchase and a Final Upgrade – A REMARKABLE example of this RARE and ORIGINAL UK 1st Issue STEREO LP - it could not disappoint any collector!
Now for A Description of the Record Package:
In Truly **GREAT** condition throughout, this is an ORIGINAL and COMPLETE UK **1st Issue** for The Beatles 'Rubber Soul' **STEREO** Vinyl LP, which was issued by Parlophone/EMI in the UK on 3 December 1965.
This Rare STEREO Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with 'Gramophone Co Ltd' label rim and 'With Sold in the UK….' and With 'Made in Gt. Britain' label text. The Vinyl Disc comes in its Original 'Made in Gt Britain' inner bag and is housed in its Original and SUPERB 1st Issue Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Three Flip back Picture sleeve.
The Dead Wax Matrix and Stamper information:
The Side 1 Matrix: XEX 579-1/ Side 2 Matrix:XEX 580-1. Side 1 stampers are '0', '17'/Side 2 stampers are 'V', '1V
An ACCURATE Assessment of the condition of the EXCEPTIONAL package:
Both sides of the IMMACULATE Record Labels are in **as GOOD** condition as you could find anywhere - the labels are GOOD. - this is a very critical assessment. Side 1 of the Vinyl Disc is BEAUTIFUL and grades, without hesitation, in **GOOD** condition. Side 2 of the Vinyl disc is in FABULOUS **GOOD** condition, showing just one or two very light wispy hairlines - this is so minimal that most would not even mention it. The Heavyweight Vinyl Disc is good – it is hard to believe that this album is now coming on for 40 years old! The front of the Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve grades in CRISP **mint** condition – FLAWLESS, Looks New. The colours are great, and the laminate is extremely shiny. The Pinched spine is in good condition and the wording 'Rubber Soul', 'The Beatles', is PERFECTLY clear. The edges and corners of the sleeve are all ok, flat and square.. The reverse of the sleeve is in good/fair condition. It is so **SNOW WHITE** and difficult to comprehend that the sleeve was manufactured back in 1965! . The Protective Inner Bag too is in great shape, with no unwanted handwriting or tearing.
An ACCURATE assessment of the Playing Quality:
The Playing quality is **PERFECT** - Both sides of the LP plays **mint**. This Stereo album sounds as it would have sounded when New - STUNNING - with NO unwanted skips, NO jumps, NO pops, NO clicks and NO background noise, NO Distortion, NO crackle and NO Groove wear. The album shows no warping and sits 100% perfectly flat on the turntable.
