Extremely Rare 'Norweigian Wood' Misspelt Label

 

I'm selling off some of the top items of my collection (see my other items for a white album mono no 0001931) to fund purchase of a white album numbered less than 0000100 or please please me gold stereo, depending on which comes up first! (I have a couple of Beatles tickets also selling but auction completes on 28th Oct so you may have missed them.) Here is a seriously rare Rubber Soul label variant appearing on a handful of early -3 matrix stereo 2nd pressings in 1968. The title 'Norwegian Wood' being misspelt 'Norweigian Wood'. One of the rarest of all beatles records, I've only seen a couple over the past few years on Ebay.

 

Vinyl appearance: Excellent. Matrices YEX 178-3 and YEX 179-3. Note that if held up to strong light you can see lots of very fine hairlines resulting from sleeve insertion and removal on both sides. These do not affect play.

Audio: Excellent. I have just played this at volume and sounds great.

Original EMITEX inner sleeve: Excellent. No tears or rips. Fully intact. Superb.

Cover: VG++ to Excellent. Some laminate creasing and minor wear to opening edge, light scuffs to corners. No writing anywhere, back is nice and clean.

 

Graded according to 'Record Collector' gradings.
