The time has come for me to part with my 50 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. I'm going to start listing this collection slowly, probably listing only one or two items a week in the beginning, on Wednesday nights, gradually increasing the items listed over time. I'm going to list five items this week just to give everyone an idea of the kinds of things I have in this collection. Ringo Starr-"Ringo" LP, Apple SWAL-3413, pressed in 1973. First off, ALL copies of "Ringo" have a misprinted time of 5:26 for the McCartney track "Six O'Clock". Only very first pressings, which were released as promos, have the actual "long version". This was withdrawn and was never released to the general public. This is one of those promo copies. Yes, I have listened to it and it's the elusive "long version" (you can also tell without listening as this version will be the longest track on side 2). Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards, is in strong VG+ to NM- condition, with a few extremely light marks. Originally this came in a plain white sleeve but I've put it in a standard "Ringo" cover, in VG+ condition, including a NM copy of the booklet. Very rare piece of Ringo vinyl, in excellent shape.
