1966 UK 1st PRESS **MONO** LP

**XEX 606-1**


This UK 1st day issue includes the remix version of 'Tomorrow Never Knows' with the XEX 606-1 side 2 matrix

It's a hard LP to find in good shape, so I have carefully and conservatively graded both visually and audible for your complete satisfaction

This rare 1966 first pressing mono copy is on the black & yellow Parlophone label PMC 7007
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text and 'Gramophone Co Ltd...' rims
Label correctly spells 'Dr Robert'
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible on the side two label.
Housed in a fully laminated, internal flipback, gatefold 'Garrod & Lofthouse' sleeve
Complete with original lined inner-sleeve

Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-1
Stamper numbers: 1/RH & 3/MO

Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS An excellent sounding copy which I have played this LP at volume, and every track plays loud and clear with NO crackle or groovewear/distortion. There are a few soft 'ticks' between tracks but no jumps or repeats anywhere
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping

Visual: VERY GOOD The surfaces are clean but do display some light non-feelable suface marks and hairlines but no major faults.

Cover: EXCELLENT A very strong, un-yellowed and clean sleeve displaying just extremely light handling and storage wear.
The corners are in great shape opening edge is clean, sharp and unworn.
The rear panel shows slight a slight crease but this seems due to a manufacturing fault. Otherwise it is clean, black and unmarked
All seams are strong and unsplit and the flipbacks are undamaged. The spine is clean, square and readable.
