Description
ATOMIC ROOSTER Nice 'N' Greasy LP from 1973 on the Dawn label (DNLS 3049).
this is the first U.K. pressing.
record appears to be black but it has more of a dark purple / red appearance when held up to the light.
record has been cleaned on an Okki Nokki and play tested in full.
it's very clean. this one came from a collection that had been in storage since the mid 80s.
there's one tiny white mark that is confined to the run-out area of Side Two.
all playing surfaces are clean, as are the labels.
both sides play through well.
there's some low surface noise between tracks, plus the occasional bit of low surface noise during the quieter passages.
there's also a couple of faint ticks as the last track, Satan's Wheel fades out.
i would say that the record grades a shade under VG Plus audio-wise.
it's still a nice sounding copy.
the sleeve has some light shelf wear plus a small reference sticker at top right.
there's a small rub mark on the spine which obscures part of the album title.
there's also the remains of a shop sticker on the back cover.
both of these stickers could probably be removed with a bit of careful attention as it's a glossy sleeve.
i will leave it up to the buyer.
i would grade the sleeve as VG.
it's a nice copy overall.
