CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
A fine pair with just a small collection of spindle trails to the centre holes but no other wear or damage.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & bright surfaces which retain their original deep-gloss shines, undulled by overplay or careless storage. Careful inspection in strong daylight shows a few harmless light surface marks consistent with careful handling & play, but nothing I would call a scratch. Close & careful examination directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a sparkling rainbow gloss shine and a few barely visible harmless wispy hairlines but no further signs of wear on this well-looked after copy.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This well looked after copy has received a moderate amount of careful play but is without any significant or major deterioration to the sound. My careful playcheck at volume found no evidence of any groove/play wear distortion on any track or in either channel. There were two light 'pops' on the introduction to 'I Want To Tell You' but close examination reveals that this is caused by a small bump in the vinyl itself and not as a result of wear. There is some intermittent light background crackle in some places but little else to fault soundwise.
Cover
EXCELLENT
This fine example retains a clean and most importantly white front panel with no yellowing or significant signs of wear. All corners are free of heavy bumps and both opening edges are clean, sharp & undamaged. The rear panel is clean & black with no traces of any ring/ storage wear, marks, writing or missing paper to any area. All flipbacks, seams and the unbent spine are in solid, unworn & undamaged condition.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Minor handling/storagewear but white overall with no splits, tears or writing.
