Description
On offer, an extremely rare 1st UK MONO pressing of The Beatles – Revolver , on the YELLOW – BLACK Parlophone label, cat. no. PMC 7009. This pressing plays the wrong mix of Tomorrow Never Knows and has the XEX 606-1 Matrix number on side 2
The record is in VG minus condition; there are lots of hairlines and on playback, my stylus skipped once on “I’m Only Sleeping”. The rest of the record plays with some background noise and some crackling. The labels are in VG+ condition, there are some spindle marks.
The cover (a Garrod and Lofthouse) is in VG condition, the back has some slight ring wear and light rubbing, further no writing, no rips or tears or other damage. The original plain white “Made in Great Britain” inner sleeve is still present and is in VG condition.
Although not a dream mint copy, this First Day pressing of Revolver is extremely rare and still collectable in this condition. A real must have for all Beatles collectors!
