THE BEATLES - 'REVOLVER'
This superb sounding UK 2nd MONO pressing dates from late-1966 on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 7009
Both labels include the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co...' rim texts
The side 2 label has the revised 'Doctor Robert' spelling & 'KT' purchase tax code
Matrix numbers: XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-2
Stamper codes: 1/GTR & 4/GDA
Vinyl weight: 163g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed mono cover, with original 'Patents Applied For' inner-sleeve

Both are immaculate with just a single faint mark around the side 2 centre hole from the factory.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine deep-gloss playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with just the faintest of wispy paper hairlines beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
This copy shows no visual signs of ever having been played and my playcheck backs up that assumption with totally clean, clear & unworn sound quality throughout. All tracks are totally free from any groove/playwear distortion and even the delicate, most often worn tracks; 'Eleanor Rigby' and 'Here, There and Everywhere' both play flawlessly with no background crackle or interference which blight so many copies. Even 'She Said, She Said' - the easily damaged final track on side 1 - is free from any groovewear distortion. Enjoy!
Cover: EXCELLENT
A firm and clean example which although slightly off-white retains an unscratched high-gloss front panel, free from any 'thumbnail' wrinkles or other significiant signs of wear. There is some toning along the spine area and a small bump to the upper left corner, but all others, along with both opening edges are sharp and totally unworn. The exposed rear panel is clean & black where it should be with no ringwear, writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are clean & fully intact and the seams are smooth & unstressed.
The spine is clean, unworn and fully worded.
Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with some even age-toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
