Title : The Beatles - Revolver
Label & year : Original Parlophone Yellow & Black PMC 7009 LP, UK Original Mono 1966 ULTRA RARE 1st Press with the "Remix 11" of Tomorrow Never Knows!!!
PCM 7009 KT - Matrix's : Side A : XEX 605 - 2 , Side B : XEX 606 - 2
Now THIS is a rarity!!! Withdrawn immediately after only an absolutely miniscule shipment of these managed to get out - The reason being that the "Remix 11" was used of Tomorrow Never Knows rather than the intended "Remix 9" - and truth be told, in my opinion the Remix 11 on here SMASHES the intended version we know and love!!! The pioneering sampling and loop sounds are MUCH louder and intense in the mix, resulting in HEAVY psychedelia - it's almost frightening!!! A joy for serious music lovers to hear and immerse yourselfs in, and that's probably why it was withdrawn - the Parlophone bigwigs probably decided that the Beatles' huge casual audience wasn't quite ready for such an intense and challenging piece of music; of course they got it, but in a slightly toned down form. It's well known that Lennon struggled a little with this legendary piece of music, it's subject being based on the heavy side of acid trips - it's original title was "The Void", but he changed it to the throwaway "Tomorrow Never Knows" in an attempt to lighten it up a little and not make it quite so serious!!! He also wanted to record the vocal whilst spinning around suspended from a rope tied to the studio ceiling, though he was persuaded to settle for a rotary speaker in the end!!! Just awesome...
EASILY ONE OF THE VERY, VERY RAREST AND MOST SPECIAL BEATLES LP'S OF ALL TIME IN IT'S PUREST FORM!!! AN ICONIC CLASSIC, IT'S THE ONLY WAY THIS STUNNING ALBUM SHOULD BE HEARD!!!
Musicians : John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and George Martin (Producer)
About : Ultra Rare Original 1966 UK 1st Press!!! AN absolute classic LP from this incredible band!!! An astonishing album that really DESERVES to be in EVERY serious 60's / 70's record collection!!! Don't miss out on this MEGA RARE LP!!! If you like good music, bid now!!!

Thankfully, it plays BRILLIANTLY with fantastic mono blast and clarity!!! It really sounds GREAT with NO hops, hisses, distortion, sticks, or skips!!! Sleeve :
Original 1966 front laminated flipback G&L "patents pending" TRUE 1st Press Mono sleeve complete with original inner!!! IMPOSSIBLE to find this sleeve in anything approaching a good condition - most are spent, torn, worn, and stained due to age and the lifestyles of the buyers of this particular LP!!! This one is NOT, and looks FANTASTIC, especially considering the nature of these fragile sleeves!!! NO tears, NO writing OR graffiti, NO seam splits, and still ULTRA strong and solid after all these years!!!
