STUNNING VINYL AND RECORD LABELS, STUNNING SLEEVE, WOULD NEVER REQUIRE UPGRADING, SUPERB!!
In EXCEPTIONAL condition - it would certainly be very difficult to find a better one - and certainly the FINEST we have offered in a very long while, RUBBER SOUL was released by EMI/Parlophone UK back in 1965.
The ORIGINAL MONO Vinyl LP is on the traditional BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, ‘Sold in UK…’ label text and ‘Made in Gt Britain’ to both record labels.
Both record labels are in EXCEPTIONAL near mint condition, a STUNNING set of UNWORN, UNDAMAGED record labels, still retaining VIVID Yellow and Silver Printed label text, and no more than just a couple of hardly visible centre spider trails.
Official side 1 matrix is XEX 579-4 and Side 2: XEX 580-4.
Side 1 stampers: 3/GTT and Side 2: 6/GRR.
The embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code is visible to centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the BARELY PLAYED DEEP GLOSS vinyl disc are in RARELY SEEN close to mint condition - simply SUPERB, UNWORN Vinyl surfaces, which could not disappoint any serious collector. If I am being critical, there is just one light surface hairline on track 7, side 1.
Audio Quality:
The audio quality matches that of the visual grading. The album plays BEAUTIFULLY through ALL the tracks with NO jumps or clicks.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex…’ Printed Inner Bag which is a FINE excellent example, NO seam splits, just a little inevitable light creasing, but certainly nothing serious.
And is housed in an OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL First Issue LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse, three flip back, MONO Sleeve.
The sleeve is in BEAUTIFUL near mint condition. The Front Panel looks STUNNINGLY NEW. Extremely DEEP and GLOSSY, showing just a few manufacturing laminate pinches. All edges are RAZOR SHARP, with a PERFECT, NEW LOOKING, Spine Edge. The reverse panel is FIRM, CLEAN and WHITE, all three flip backs are UNDAMAGED, showing no more than just a little light age discoloration to the opening edge. An EXCEPTIONALLY PRESERVED sleeve, which needs to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Overall ONE OF THE FINEST examples to have come onto the open market more recently – hard to comprehend that it was issued 45 years ago and most definitely a FINAL UPGRADE!!
