RECORD LABELS EXCEPTIONAL, VINYL DISC UNMARKED LOOKS NEW, SOUND QUALITY SUPERB, CLEAN, FIRM, FLAT SLEEVE
RUBBER SOUL was released by Parlophone UK in 1965, and this is the HARD TO FIND Original FIRST ISSUE STEREO Vinyl LP is on the Custom Black and Yellow Parlophone Label with The Gramophone Co. Ltd label rim, and Sold in UK... label text.
The Vinyl LP comes in its ORIGINAL Lined 'Use Emitex' Rice Paper Inner Bag and is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Garrod & Lofthouse, Laminated three Flip Back Sleeve, printed ‘stereo’, together with the catalogue number PCS 3075 to the top right hand corner of the reverse of the sleeve.
Official Side 1 Matrix YEX 178-2/Side 2: YEX 179-2. Side 1 stampers: 1/A, Side 2: 3/GM. The embossed 'KT' tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 record label.
Both sides of the record labels are in TOP near mint condition, a SUPERB Set of UNDAMAGED, Near Perfect record labels with one faint spider trail to either side! Both sides of the Vinyl Disc are in FRESH, UNMARKED near mint condition, difficult to fault the vinyl playing surfaces, which look NEW. This FIRM, FLAT 1st Issue Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve is in excellent plus condition. The front panel retains a MIRROR GLOSS, and ALL four corners are UNDAMAGED and free from any corner bumps or bruising. There is a 1.5" wear mark to middle of the top seam. The only other faint blemish to the EXCEPTIONAL front panel is when tilting the sleeve around in the light there is a 0.75" x 0.5" area of dulling to the top upper right corner of the front of sleeve where a price sticker has been removed. The rear panel of the sleeve is CLEAN and WHITE having obviously been very carefully stored over the past 43 years. The top flip back appears to have suffered a 1.5" ink stain, which runs under the laminate, with the exception of this, the three flip backs are in great shape. The Pinched Spine is PERFECT and the printed wording ‘Rubber Soul, The Beatles’ BOLD and CLEAR. The inner sleeve is in GREAT SHAPE, clean and bright, no splitting, and only light, inevitable, creasing.
We doubt whether you could find a better sounding copy! It is obvious that the album could not have been played more than once or twice, the sound quality is EXCEPTIONAL throughout, warm and clear with no nasty jumps or clicks.
Visually the Vinyl disc and the sound quality of this example would be hard to match, a VERY NICE example!
