The Beatles
SUPER-SCARCE 1963 UK mono LP
"Please Please Me"
Parlophone PMC 1202
with MISPRINTED labels: Extra "33 1/3"!
<Be sure to add us to your favourites list!>

DIRECTLY after EMI changed the label design from the black&gold style to the then new yellow&black, leading to the so-called "3rd pressing" of "Please Please Me", the Beatles' first LP, a mistake happened:

EMI did not realize that the new y&b labels already had a LARGE "33 1/3" printed on them and so they left the tiny "33 1/3", directly left to the center hole and right to the "(XEX....)", just like on the gold&black labels.

THIS SUPER-RARE MISPRESSING is not even yet listed in the "Record Collector" bible! It definitely turns up much less frequent than the already scarce black&gold issues. I have listed this one at a very competitive starting price -- good luck!!

Condition:
The original cover made by Ernest J. Day and with the correct Angus McBean credits to the far right is in VERY GOOD condition with 3 thin biro lines on the back.

The SUPER-RARE record with the MISPRESSED 3rd pressing labels (extra "33 1/3") is in  VERY GOOD PLUS / VERY GOOD (-) condition and plays through very nicely without any jumps, sticks etc.!

The original "Emitex" inner sleeve is a rare 1st, polylined issue and in EXCELLENT - condition. (Record will be sent in additional protective inner sleeve, as always!)

I pack very carefully. The buyer pays only the real postage and insurance costs! I ship from Germany and will gladly combine shipping if you win several auctions, so you save on postage! Please take a look at my other Beatles auctions!
