THE BEATLES - 'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
1963 UK 4th MONO ISSUE LP
***MINT DECCA PRESSING***
Pressed in very limited quantities by Decca Records (in mono only) at the request of EMI in early 1964.
These pressing are chiefly identifiable by the distinctive 'groove' around the label.
Although pressed on slightly thinner vinyl than their EMI counterparts, they retain top Decca sound quality.
This outstanding MINT 1963 DECCA mono '4th pressing' is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1202
The labels bear the distinctive Decca deep 'groove' .
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims & the 'Recording First Published..' text.
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse 'large' mono logo cover.
Complete with original poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1 & XEX 422-1
Stamper numbers: 1,11 & 14

Just a few light spindle trails suggesting no more than 2 or 3 plays.

Pristine, perfect 'shop-fresh/as new' surfaces when viewed both in daylight & directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Very close inspection reveals absolutely no scuffs, scratches or even paper hairlines.
Unquestionably 100% flat on both sides without any signs of dishing or warping.
Impossible difficult to find a better copy.
Audio: NEAR MINT
Played only two or three times, all tracks play totally 'as new' There is absolutely no crackle or groovewear on any tracks in either channel.
Both run-ins & all bands play 100% silently with not a single tick or click to be heard anywhere & certainly no jumps or repeats.
I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

This superb example has a perfect front panel and uncreased/unwrinkled laminate bearing absolutely no wear at all.
The corners are all clean, sharp & un-bumped and the opening edges are completely unworn & 'as new' on both sides.
The rear panel bears just a few dirty fingermarks but is otherwise bright and white with no age discolouration, writing or missing paper.
All flipbacks, seams and the spine are in 100% perfect condition with no damage or wear whatsoever.
(I do not grade anything which has been played as 'mint').
