Description

For auction today is the rare Decca press of the Please Please me album MONO PMC 1202  XEX.421-1N XEX.422-1N

Side one  10    Side two  14.

The album looks as if it has just come off the press, it has been very well looked after and has that new look about it. There is evidence of at least one play on side 2 and the same on side 1 with the very light spindle mark. The labels are fantastic, clean, unmarked, clear text. The vinyl as described above -added to that and under the unforgiving halogen light one light shows one whispy line from cover removal on side 2.

I would grade the labels as NM

I would grade the vinyl NM

The cover of this abum is fantastic clear clean and undamaged. Light crease top R hand corner (see photo)

The back of the cover shows the tri-fold intact, white, no writing or damage. I would grade the cover as NM

The inner sleeve (patents applied for text) Mild creasing I would grade as EX++

Overall a sound investment for any collector.
