BEATLES ‘PLEASE PLEASE ME’ Rare GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL Description: - Here we have an original UK album from The Beatles titled ‘Please Please Me’, this is the rare 1st UK release on the GOLD Parlophone label, please refer to the photos. The labels have the incorrect ‘Dick James Mus. Co.’ publishing credits for tracks 1 & 2 on side one and track 4 on side two. It comes in the original laminated flip back E. J. Day sleeve & has the original Emitex inner sleeve. This is an original Mono copy. I’m starting this auction low so as to encourage bidders, it has no reserve but I’m sure you know where it should end up. Label: - The record is on Parlophone Records catalogue number PMC 1202, this is an original Gold Label UK release from ©1963. Matrix numbers XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-1N. Condition: - The condition of the record is as follows: - A side VG condition, B side VG condition, sleeve VG condition. The record does have some surface marks but these cannot be felt and are not scratches just surface scuffs. I have played both sides and it plays through both sides without sticking or jumping, there is some background noise presumably due to its age. The label has a slight piece rubbed away on side 1, this can clearly be seen in the photos. Postage Instructions: - The highest bidder is to pay for the postage charges.
