1963 UK **3RD PRESS** MONO LP
**WITHOUT "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED" LABEL TEXT**
This label variation occured for just a few weeks during the switch from the black and gold labels to the yellow and black design.This copy is housed in a first pressing sleeve with the 'Angus McBean' photographer credit in the extreme lower right corner.
This rare excellent 1963 'third' mono pressing is on the UK yellow & black Parlophone label PMC 1202
Both labels OMIT the 'Sold in UK..' and 'Recording First Published..' texts
The label carry 'Parlophone Co... rim texts
There is no tax/price code is visible on either label
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'E.J. Day..' sleeve
Complete with original lined inner-sleeve
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1 & XEX 422-1
Stamper numbers: 2/RL & 1/GT
CONDITION
DiscVisual: EXCELLENT Very heavy and thick vinyl with clean surfaces which display some hairlines under intense direct light.
100% flat on the turntable with no dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT MINUS Powerful and loud sound with some very slight clipping on some loud peaks.
However there is NO crackle, pops, clicks, jumps or repeats

Sleeve: EXCELLENT MINUS Construced of thick heavy card, this early, first pressing sleeve has the photographer's credit in the extreme lower right corner.
The front is clean and bright with light handling and storage wear with some light corner bruising.
The rear shows some small areas of discolouration, but no writing and minor wear to the lower left corner flipback
All seams are strong and unsplit and the spine is clean and readable.
