'PLEASE, PLEASE ME'
On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1202
Both labels carry the 'Sold in UK..' text & 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 1 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'small' mono cover.
Complete with a contemporary non-EMI poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XEX 421-1N & XEX 422-2N
Stamper numbers: 10/RRP & 6/GD

A clean & bright set with just numerous spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Both surfaces of this well-looked after copy retain their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with no surface marks visible in strong daylight. Close & careful inspection directly under my powerful halogen light reveals just numerous wispy inner-sleeve removal paper hairlines, but nothing I would call a scratch. A nice heavy copy lies 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: VERY GOOD +
This copy has received some frequent, but careful, play but there is no major deterioration to the sound quality throughout. Aside from some wear distortion on some loud peaks on 'P.S. I Love You' & slight background between tracks, I found no other other significant audible faults or wear.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A clean & strong example with just general storage & handling wear, but no major faults. The front panel is bright & glossy with no creasing or even any 'thumbnails' towards the opening edge. There is slight wear to the opening edges but all corners are clean square and unbumped. The rear panel is mostly white with just some handling wear but no writing or missing paper. There is a small stress to the lower seam but all flipbacks are clean & fully intact and the spine is unsplit & undamaged.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
- All the photos in this listing have been taken by myself and are of the actual items for sale.
- All records are professionally & securely in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
