The Rare Record Price Guide 2008 lists this record (there is also a photograph in the book which is obviously identical to this one). According to the guide, only 900 copies were every produced in this Stereo version, making the album extremely rare.
The authenticating elements of this record are: Angus McBean Photo Credit - Bottom, far right - front cover, Stereo - (see close up), 'Use Emitex' on reverse of cover (see close up), E J Day Cover (see close up), Black and Gold Labels, Dick James Music Co Credits for: I Saw Her Standing There, Misery, Ask Me Why, Please Please Me, Do You Want to Know a Secret, There's a Place (see label close-ups)
I probably don't need to say too much more, other that that the condition of the record is Excellent. There are a few, superficial surface scratches, visible under strong light. There is one light scratch on side one, on the last track/run off - but this does not impair the sound quality at all. Both sides play beautifully, the sound is superb. This is an absolutely stunning example of the rarest Beatles album you could ever hope to find. These only come up for auction very rarely - this is the only one on eBay. The silences between tracks are breathtaking - background noise is absolutely minimal. The tracks themselves are incredible - expect to get shivers down your spine!
The black and gold labels are vibrant, with a soft, glinting sheen.
The Condition of the sleeve is Excellent. It is not ripped or torn. There is only minor edge creasing. One the back cover, there is some very minor peeling at the base - which you can see on the picture. On the back there is also one small age mark, in the centre - which can also be seen in the picture. There is no writing anywhere on the sleeve or the labels.

This is from my own personal collection, a present from my wife - and is a very cherished piece. However, life happens and I need to sell it. I know that many of you will have been looking for this for a long time and I know that the winning bidder will be thrilled with it. This record is also advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to remove it if it sold prior to the end of the auction. There is no 'buy it now' price, but I will consider sensible offers.
I also have some other excellent vinyl pieces on offer - please take a look at my other items for sale!
