THE BEATLES - 'PAPERBACK WRITER'/'RAIN'
This scarce variation of this amazing 45 is a UK 1st pressing dating from June 1966 on Parlophone: R 5452
This has the rarely seen tall/narrow font layout on both labels.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18380-2 & 7XCE 18381-2
Stamper codes: 3/GP & 1/RG
Housed in its original green & white 'Fran The Fan'/Parlophone company sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: VERY GOOD +
This copy has received a moderate amount of play and some superficial surface wear is visible on both sides. However these are mainly light wispy marks and nothing we would call a scratch. Both tracks play through with all the power and energy intended and without distraction.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Clean & flat with the only trace of age being a tiny stain to the lower left corner.
