1966 UK **DEMONSTRATION RECORD** 45
This is a rare and 100% genuine 1966 DEMO of 'Paperback Writer'/'Rain' is on the oversized red & white Parlophone label: R 5452
Both labels have the British (Brit.) release date 27.5.66 below the centre hole and 'Gramophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The 'KT' tax/price code is visible in the centre of the side 2 label.
N.B. This label is genuine and has not been stuck on. There is no label underneath.
Housed in a Parlophone company cover.
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18380-2 & 7XCE 18381-2
Stamper numbers: 1/G & 2/P
Labels: GOOD
Some discolouration, a name on both sides and small sticker residue on side 1 but no missing paper.
Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS
The playing surfaces are very bright and clean and still retain an excellent shine undulled by careless handling or storage.
There are just a few light surface hairlines visible under a halogen desk lamp, and the disc 100% flat on the turntable without any dishing or warping.
Audio: EXCELLENT
The disc has not been overplayed and there is very little lessening to the sound quality.
Both sides sound clear and bright without any groovewear distortion or crackle and there are no clicks, pops, jumps or repeats anywhere.
