Album Description:

This is the Rare **STEREO** Vinyl LP for The Beatles FIRST UK album Please Please Me released by Parlophone, UK in 1963 on the Distinctive BLACK AND GOLD PARLOPHONE LABEL, and this is the harder to find NORTHERN SONGS variant.

This Super Rare album comes in its correct and Original Polythen Lined Use Emitex Protective Inner Bag, and is housed in its Original Laminated ERNEST J DAY Flip Back Sleeve, with large 'stereo' printed to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve.

Official Matrix and Stampers:

Side 1 matrix: YEX 94-1, Side 2: YEX 95-1.
Side 1 stampers: 1/G, Side 2: 1/A.

Condition Report:

Both sides of the record labels are in SUPERB excellent condition. The beautiful Rich Gold Leaf Lettering is still SHARP, with just a few very light spider trails, and no wear evident to the centre spindle hole. Both sides of the Vinyl disc too are in SUPERB excellent plus condition. It is difficult to fault this STUNNING vinyl. At most there are just a couple of light surface hairlines to either side. The Vinyl is GLEAMING, and it is obvious that it has barely been played. There are NO Scuffs and NO deep Scratches. The Ernest J Day Laminated sleeve is a RESPECTABLE example and in very good plus condition. The sleeve is FIRM without any major damage. The spine edge is clearly readable. There is light bruising to all four corners and a small stain to the top right hand corner on the front of the sleeve (see scan). The reverse of the sleeve is CLEAN and BRIGHT, with just a little light discolouration to the opening edge, a small blemish to the top right hand corner of the fold over flap, and a small piece missing from the bottom right hand corner of the fold over flap (see scans provided).

Playing Quality:

The album plays EXTREMELY WELL throughout the tracks, a SUPERB Early STEREO sound, with no skips, or distortion !

This is a VERY NICE, and totally RESPECTABLE, example of The Beatles DEBUT UK Album on this EXTREMELY COLLECTABLE Black and Gold First STEREO Label!
