RARELY SEEN, HIGHLY RESPECTABLE, CLEAN EXAMPLE OF THIS SIGNIFICANT BEATLES PARLOPHONE DEMONSTRATION DISC, NO WRITING TO RECORD LABELS

This is the RARE 1966 UK PARLOPHONE DEMONSTRATION Vinyl 45 for The Beatles No 1 Hit, ‘Paperback Writer/Rain’.

The Vinyl 45 comes on the Traditional White with BOLD Red ‘A’ label on side 1, and white label with Black print to side 2 with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim and ‘DEMONSTRATION RECORD NOT FOR SALE’ printed to BOTH sides of the record labels, together with the catalogue number 'R 5452' and Brit (27.5.66) printed in the centre of the record labels to both sides.

The machine stamped matrixes are: Side 1: 7XCE 18380-2/Side 2 7XCE 18381-2. The stampers are: Side 1: KT/1G and side 2: KT/2P. The embossed ‘KT’ tax code is visible to the side 2 record label.

The Disc comes in an Original ‘Fran The Fan’ Parlophone Company Bag.

With the exception of the remains of a small sticker mark, the side 1 record label is in very nice, CLEAN excellent condition, with NO writing. The side 2 record label is in clean, white excellent plus condition, again NO hand writing, yellowing or scuffing. Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in near excellent condition, very RESPECTABLE, showing only some light, inaudible, surface scratches to both sides, but NO deep scratches or scuffs. The Original Parlophone ‘Fran the Fan’ sleeve is in great shape with NO splits or handwriting.

The Disc plays EXCEPTIONALLY WELL on both sides, with a CLEAR, POWERFUL Sound, with only very light background crackle to both tracks, but NO pops, skips, clicks or jumps. The disc sits 100% flat on turntable, with NO dishing or warping.

Beatles DEMOS in this RESPECTABLE condition are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. In terms of collecting, Beatles Demos are considered to be at the TOP of any Serious Beatles collection – a NICE example!
