THE BEATLES: PENNY LANE – EPEA. 1002 – ORIGINAL SINGAPORE PARLOPHONE VINYL 4 TRACK EP.

BLACK AND SILVER PARLOPHONE LABEL, WITH **Made in Singapore by EMI Records(SEA) Ltd**.This EP is listed on many web sites as being a 1967 issue, this must be wrong because two of the tracks on the EP were not released until 1969, so i would say the EP dates from1969.

This rare Singapore Parlophone pressing 4 track EP plays the following tracks, Penny Lane, Eleanor Rigby on side one, & Strawberry Fields Forever, Yellow Submarine on side two, and is on the BLACK AND SILVER PARLOPHONE LABEL.

Both record labels are in Excellent condition, showing light centre spindle lines to both labels.

The official side 1 matrix is 7XAPA.1395, & Side 2 matrix is 7XAPA.1396.

Both sides of the vinyl disc are in Very Good Plus to Excellent condition, showing light surface hairlines to both sides, there are no deep scratches or scuffs visible.

The EP comes in its original laminated picture sleeve featuring a different contrasting image of the Beatles on both sides, on one side a snow scene, and on the other a much warmer scene, the reverse of the sleeve has the printed EMI Records South East Asia address, and the official Parlophone/EMI Logo on bothe sides.

The unique laminated picture sleeve is in superb Excellent Plus condition, showing light record indentation on both sides, overall this is a very nice glossy laminated picture sleeve, and a very rare one too.

The EP plays well throughout, with only light background crackle, more noticable on side 2, but does play with great sound quality.
