Description
BAD RELIGION - Bad Religion EP RARE TEST PRESSING vinyl Insanely rare 1st EP from OC punk legends on Epitaph
Up on the auction block is a truly one-of-a-kind item--a test pressing of Bad Religion's first EP, Bad Religion.
This EP not only counts as the first from Bad Religion, it's also one of the first releases on the seminal and legendary California punk label, Epitaph (home to the likes of NOFX, Rancid, Social Distortion, Alkaline Trio, etc).
Test pressings were used to shop the album around to labels, demonstrate track order and album flow to artists, producers and label heads. These were almost exclusively held onto and used by the artist, producer and only the top label heads.
This is an original and one-of-a-kind item for Bad Religion and Epitaph collectors! Snatch it up now before it's gone forever!
Track Listing:
Side A: 1. Bad Religion 2. Politics 3. Sensory Overload
Side B: 1. Slaves 2. Drastic Actions 3. World War III
Check out the Wikipedia article for more info on the EP.

Grading Info:
All records are graded using the Goldmine Magazine record grading standard (see below). Each record is visually graded under strong light. If a record is play graded, it will be noted in the item description.
Goldmine Magazine Record Grading Standard:
M (Mint) – Perfect, flawless. Still sealed in original packaging and never played. These are RARE.
M- or NRMT (Mint Minus or Near Mint) – The highest grade for a record that has been played. The album is in excellent condition and shows no visible signs of wear or damage that will affect sound quality.
VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus) – Only the slightest of wear, certainly no deep scratches. Cover may have slight ring wear and minor seam splitting.
VG+ (Very Good Plus) – Well cared for. Though there may be more wear to the cover and record it should play without skipping or repeating.
VG (Very Good) – Still good condition, but more wear than VG+.
VG- (Very Good Minus) – Generally not collectible condition, unless it’s a super rare record.
G (Good) – Lots of wear, but still playable.
WBR (Wrecked But Rare) – Otherwise known as a Starter Copy. Not cracked, but a starter copy.

I just play tested this record and it is FLAWLESS. Very clean. Excellent bass response and very clean highs. Sounds very 3 dimensional. Also, this is a 45 RPM test pressing (mistakenly noted as being 33 1/3 RPM in the listing). This means that it is most likely a 12" test pressing for the first pressing on 7" 45RPM and not the second pressing on 12". Happy bidding!
