This SUPERB example of Paul McCartney's Highly Acclaimed first solo album McCartney' was released by APPLE Records UK in 1970. This Original UK ISSUE Stereo Apple Album is on the Official DARK Green APPLE Label, With 'Mfd in U.K…' and 'An EMI Recording' label text.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL ‘Made in Gt Britain’ White Printed APPLE bag and is protected in its ORIGINAL First Issue Fully Laminated GATEFOLD sleeve.
Matrix and stamper information is as follows: Side 1 matrix: YEX 775 A -2U-1/Side 2: YEX 776 B -3U-1. Side 1 stampers:side one, 1PL Side two1 GDO.
Both sides of the record labels are in Near Mint condition, with only a few very faint spindle lines, on the side one record label there is a white with red print sticker that reads, FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE.
Both sides of the HEAVYWEIGHT Vinyl disc are in SUPER Near Mint condition, showing only a couple of non sounding surface hairlines.
The Original ULTRA GLOSSY First Issue fully laminated GATEFOLD Sleeve is a very nice example in Excellent Plus condition. The Colours are vibrant, the front, centre gatefold, and the reverse panels of the sleeve are glossy with light record indentation to the reverse, and only a couple of laminate pinches to the front and back.
The Original White Printed Apple bag is in in Excellent Plus condition with NO seam splits, just some light creasing.
The album plays extremely well without any skips, a great sound quality.
