This was the Beatles final album, released in 1970. As sold, the box set was in a thin cardboard box that was very flimsy and only opened with great difficulty. Unsurprisingly this flimsy cardboard container has not survived, and is not included in the sale.
LP Visual and Play
All 4 sides of the LPs have been not only visually examined, but also played on a quality deck and carefully listened to all the way through. There are no visible scratches on the vinyl but both sides have light scuffing/rubbing marks. None of these marks seem to have any effect on the play quality from the LP tracks. Side 1 - visually EX- , no deep scratches but light rubbing and scuffing on the surface. Play quality was EX+ I heard no ticks , no clicks, no hops, no sticks, no crackles; even the gaps between the tracks were particularly quiet. Side 2 was very similar, play quality gradedd slightly lower at EX because I could detect some background noise/dust? in two of the gaps between the tracks.
