N.B. The 'PXS 1' catalogue number did not appear anywhere on the package but was for ordering purposes only.


CONDITION


Slipcase: NEAR MINT

Incredibly difficult to find in anything approaching this condition but happily, this example has been carefully stored and barely touched over the past 40 years.



The front panel is perfectly clean & glossy with no scratching or storage rubbing to any part. The only sign of wear is a single light wrinkle in the upper right corner. The an original price sticker is still present in the upper left of John's portrait, which could easily be removed if desired.



The rear is just a clean with just a single small wrinkle in the laminate in the left edge. All of the exposed edges themselves are completely unworn and with no tears, feathering or missing paper to any. Both upper and lower ends are also completely wear-free.

Outer Tray: NEAR MINT

One of the most easily and frequently worn components is presented here in near perfect condition. Both of the fold-over flaps are completely un-rubbed and uncreased and even the exposed outer edges are free of the usual rubbing or wear. Remember, this is an original and NOT a reproduction and no part has been restored or repaired in any way.

Inner Tray: NEAR MINT

This fragile component has survived the fully intact and completely undamaged without even any of the usual stress tears to the inner corners. It is also perfectly in-shape and un-crushed throughout.

Book: MINT

A perfect unread example of this lavish publication with no wear to front or rear cover and no loose, missing or damaged pages inside.

Disc

Labels: NEAR MINT

An outstanding set with just two small spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole and just a single faint one on side 1.

Visual: MINT

Both surfaces are 'as new' & totally unmarked in strong daylight with just some harmless wispy paper hairlines visible directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp.

Audio:NEAR MINT

Played only once or twice at most, the sound is flawless and wonderful throughout.

Cover:EXCELLENT +

A superb clean & high-gloss example which displays little more than three small 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards the front opening edge. The is a tiny bend to the lower right corner but no wear to the others or anything significant to either opening edge.

The rear panel is unworn and both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT +

Crisp & white with the inevitable light disc impression but no writing, tears or seam splits.
